VA - Underground Anthems EP Vol. 1-Vinyl-2007-HZT

Solid three tracker from this fledgeling
label that's gatherd three astonishingly good detroity house
tracks for your aural pleasure. Be sure to check out
KSoul & Ra.H's incredibly deep "Turning Point" and Keith
Worthy's twisted acidic "Deep For Dayz".

Detroit's Sistrum label brings together 3 of the most
interesting up and coming producers of deep Techno for this
excellent twelve - KSoul & Ra.H, Keith Worthy and Patrice Scott.
If you're into the deeper side of things you'll want to take note
the EP kicks off with the sublime reductions of KSoul & Ra.H,
once again bringing to life the sort of soulful dub effervescence
perfected by the Meanwhile label in recent years - it's just
gorgeous stuff. Keith Worthy heads out on a more darkside trajectory
on the flip, the stretchy bend of his synths bringing to mind
classic Theo Parrish, and with the pace at a modest 115 bpm it's not
a bad comparison overall. Patrice Scott ends the twelve on an upward
trend, super spacious chords layering themselves over another
anthemic Detroit reduction. Brilliant twelve - limited copies only.
